Work at the part level for the ultimate in customization

One of the most powerful advantages of AutoCabinets over other cabinet design software is the ability to work at the part level when creating something. What that means is that you can create a new part, define it's shape, add custom machining such as routes and drilling, position the part in relation to other parts, and repeat the process until your cabinet or whatever you are creating is complete. This is all done with the help of time-saving wizards.

Save custom parametric cabinets to your library

AutoCabinets includes a good sized library of objects, but more importantly, you get the ability to save the objects you create to your own custom library. These objects can be made parametric. This means that the parts that make up objects in your library will intelligently resize when you change the overall size of the object. The parts resize according to the resizing rules you've defined. With a parametric library you can pick a style of cabinet from your library and use it at 30 inches wide in one job, and 32 inches wide in another job, and the parts automatically adjust accordingly.

Multiple Customizable Views

AutoCabinets is full of features that make designing, presenting, and manufacturing cabinets easier. If you need 2D or 3D renderings, submittals, or shop drawings for any reason, you'll also benefit in this area because AutoCabinets automates the process of creating drawings such as these:

Views in AutoCabinets are very customizable. You can use the available textures, import your own textures, use solid colors, use black and white, use solid wireframe, add arrows, add custom text and annotations, and also choose between 2D or 3D.

Arc Wall Tool

AutoCabinets can design a curved stud wall including the plates, studs and sheathing. Once the wall has been designed to the user’s specifications, RouterCAD will break the wall assembly down and export the DXF files with the associated TXT for processing in CAM software such our One Touch Solution or EnRoute Wood.

Export parts to most quality CAM software capable of reading DXF/DWG files

Our DXF / DWG files are formatted for CNC machines, then exported with TXT / CVS files for mapped data readers found in most quality CAM software such as our One Touch Solution or EnRoute Wood. Contact us to see if we're compatible with your CAM package.
